Real Estate Loan Specialist

Description: Langley Federal Credit Union is currently seeking to employ Real Estate Loan Specialist right now, this job will be placed in Virginia. For detail informations about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Responsible for processing, closing, and funding of all loans. Uses knowledge and discretion to insure loans are processed and closed in accordance with Company, secondary market guidelines and with ruth and Lending rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. High School graduate or equivalent. 2. Mortgage loan processing or underwriting experience to include conventional, VA, FHA, and VHDA residential mortgage loans. 3. PC proficiency with working knowledge of automated underwriting systems and mortgage software. 4. Proven ability to be consistently focused, remain task-oriented, and exercise discretion. 5. Proven ability to work in a team setting, where attention to detail is important, especially during times of peak demand 6. Documented ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines. 7. Familiarity with legal and real estate terminology, documents (i.e., Deeds of Trust, title insurance, policies, surveys, etc.), and real estate laws/regulations. 8. Excellent customer/member service skills. 9. Good oral communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
1. Minimum of one (1) year real estate closing experience. 2. Prior experience in a real estate lending environment. 3. Three or more years of experience processing conventional, VA, FHA, and VHDA residential mortgage loans.
