Location: Fairfax Virginia

We are seeking a qualified Technical Support Representative to assist customers with product and technical support inquiries.

Requirements

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical explanations, do problem analysis and recommend solutions to walk-in customers, sales associates and service technicians.
  • Provide technical support to Micro Center customers via telephone.
  • Provide input on sales associate training program.
  • Communicate to Home Office IT on store system maintenance (POS, phones, etc.) and general technical problems.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent; college, technical or education/training background is preferred. Two or more years experience in a technical retail environment and prior experience installing hardware into personal computers.
