Background
Watchlist Intelligence Analysts perform information triage by processing nominations and reviewing terrorist information. Their research, reporting, and recommendations combine to derive determinations about terrorist activities and the need for additional analysis requirements. Watchlist analysts support several Intelligence Community customers.
Position Responsibilities
Evaluate, analyze, and process terrorist information and/or nominations.
Write, prepare, and submit intelligence products, reports, presentations and recommendations.
Upload, store and retrieve information in multiple intelligence databases.
Review and assess information, including its accuracy and quality, in order to make recommendations on further processing requirements such as analysis or nomination.
Required Qualifications
One to five (1-5) years of experience in an intelligence analys! is role in the Intelligence Community.
Demonstrated e! xperience and knowledge of documentation analysis.
College degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability and knowledge of basic computer skills, and familiarity with intelligence analysis tools used to support Intelligence Community data collection, manipulation, and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, prioritize effectively, problem solve, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and to work several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision.
Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging team environment, mentor other personnel, and handle stressful situations.
Possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of the Sponsor's Agency Data Secure Network (ADSN) computing environment, as well as, the ability to quickly become proficient with such computing environments.
Proficiency with CWE, EMS, and TIDE.
Knowl! edge of HERCULES Database.
Knowledge of current events, technical skills, and any formal training to help perform responsibilities.
Knowledge of collection capabilities and methods and the relationships of intelligence gaps.
Knowledge of open source information sources.
