Licensed as RN in State of VA or Compact State
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or foreign scho! ol approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing or licensed pending State Board approval. Licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or a licensed member of a Compact state.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year medical-surgical experience or 1 year oncology experience preferred.
The RN is responsible for directing patient care, following the Nursing Process, providing nursing care to the Radiation Oncology & Hematology/Oncology patient. Relationship Based Care is the focus of nursing practice. Provides patient and family education relevant to the oncology disease pathology, prevention, and plan of care. Patient safety is our goal. Other duties may be delegated .
