As a Division Manager in Middle Market, you will focus on Middle M! arket corporate banking relationships. Middle Market clients m! ost often report sales revenue in a range of $20 million to $500 million annually.
Your responsibilities will include hiring and directing team members in their business development efforts to attract and expand banking relationships with Middle Market companies. A typical team includes one to three bankers, an underwriting staff, a sales/marketing assistant, treasury sales officer and client service professionals. You will be expected to maintain a portfolio of your own, while leading the team. However, the portfolio size is typically smaller in recognition of management responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Typically at least ten years in account relationship management with demonstrated, high-level of success in establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients
- Strong Knowledge of the Richmond Market
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Strong management skills - must have previous management experience! in a Commercial Banking setting.
- Communication skills are critical
- Business development skills are essential
- Formal Credit Training
- Prior management experience of a commercial lending sale team required
- Must have demonstrated experience in cross-selling products and an ability and track record to meet or exceed aggressive sales goals
