SUMMARY: This position is to provide the technical expertise and timely processing regarding all transactions and team interaction as it pertains to Inventory Accuracy/C! ontrol. This position is a primary point of contact for all internal customers providing communication, direction and proactive attention to our inventory accuracy and the processes that support it. All interactions with fellow team members are to be aligned with the work performed on professional skills, team building, communication, feedback and resolution as it pertains to the Production Site.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate quarterly Physical Inventories and weekly Cycle Counts, ensuring SOX compliance and best practices
Monitor all aspects of inventory in PeopleSoft and any 3 rd party systems, including but not limited to receiving, production, shipping, allocations, transactions, scheduling, intercompany movements, holds, returns, purchasing and billing
Perform research and analysis of root causes of inventory inaccu! racies and works with others to resolve process problems that ! may lead to inaccuracy
Communicate daily with employees and Management on trends, training issues, pending issues and areas impacting accuracy to goal
Participate in process improvement initiatives related to best practices / accuracy goal and testing process for system updates
Transact inventory movements for offsite locations as necessary
Update work instructions and train Cycle Count Administrators
Support setup and maintenance of item dimensions and utility codes
Ensure maintenance of pending issues and transaction errors
Run purge queries and facilitate disposition of obsolete inventory
Respond to inquiries from Accounting, Order Management and other internal customers as needed
Perform scrap and expensing transactions as needed

OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS:
Some off-shift work will be required for cycle counting, physical inventories
Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements d! irected by GMCR and the department
Performs other duties as requested by management
Supports plant inventory accuracy goals

QUALIFICATIONS :
Inventory control experience or experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Working knowledge of product lines and units of measure
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with or ability to learn PeopleSoft system
Strong math and computer skills; advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and good trouble shooting / follow up skills
Experienced in analysis and/or reconciliations
Strong time management skills, ability to effectively handle multiple tasks
Positive attitude / self â€â€Å"motivated; works independently

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Predominately sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding/computer work required (67%-100% of the workday)
Ability to lift up to 30! pounds occasionally
