Project Summary:
T-Rex Corporation is currently seeking a Business Objects Support Engineer III to support the Customs Modernization Program CSPO O&M program in Alexandria, VA. The IT Engineer will demonstrate knowledge in a wide application of principles, theories and concepts in his/her field and provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions. They will work under very general supervision and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
Skills Required:
9 years experience developing BO web intelligence tools against centralized Data Warehouses (BO XI R3)
Ability to perform Business O! bjects builds and maintain source code versions.
Abil! ity to perform Business Objects upgrades.
Experience with unit testing, SWIT testing, and integration level testing, requiring ability to work with both big picture
Experience with Test Management Software (HP Mercury suite of tools â€"QuickTestPro, TestDirector, LoadRunner, Quality Center) to conduct functional, regression and performance testing, evaluate test results, report and manage defects and support test automation.
Ability to work closely with others on small Agile teams
Understanding of Agile development concepts including Scrum and XP
Test Driven Development
Continuous Integration Environment for Software
Experience with software source code management using Serena Dimensions
Skills Desired:
Current CBP BI clearance and Agile Scrum certification
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide Level II and Level III Support Activities for CBP Cargo Systems
Research ! and Fix Issues raised by Trouble Tickets and PTRs.
Analyze and gather Business requirements.
Write and review Functional and Technical Specifications for Requirements.
Design, Code and Test Development for Requirements based on CRs, PTRs, Design Documents etc.
Review Code, Tests and Test Plans for Quality Assurance purposes.
Participate in Agile production support teams and perform Technical Investigation and Issue Resolution.
Perform technical research and Support COTS upgrades
Experience with Full Software Development Life Cycle and the CBP SELC.
Design, develop, test and deploy Business Objects Universes
