Position Responsibilities
Responsible for the monitoring, testing, preventive maintenance and repair of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical, alarming and monitoring systems per specifications and operational procedures at Northern VA technical facilities and premium data centers in Ashburn and Manassas, VA. Responsible for maintenance and repair of the physical facilities structures, security and peripheral systems. Responsible for emergency power and physical facility remedies at all technical facilities, a first responder during natural disasters or any other facilities threat to network safety.
Required Skills & Experience
Three to five years practical experience working with facilities maintenance with strong emphasis on AC and DC power systems, HVAC systems and controls.
Desired Skills & Experience
Strong computer skil! ls, fire system operations, Building automation systems operat! ions are all desired skills. Self-motivated and ability to work independently or in team environment. College degree preferred. Professional license is a benefit.
