Day to Day Work

Unisys Corporation is looking for an experienced IT Specialist to join our team in Rosslyn, VA. The position will involve planning, implementing and maintaining updates on web pages. Candidates must be a US Citizen and have a Secret Clearance.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
The Information Technology specialist will support the Department of State Bureau in the development of web pages and SharePoint sites. This position involves planning, implementing, and maintaining updates on web pages. This individual provides hands-on technical leadership and direction to the technology team, understands business challenges and translates them into process/technical solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 (DTS, SSIS, and DBA experience)
• Proficient with ASP.NET C#
• Proficient with Classic ASP
• Proficient with Photoshop
• Proficient with! SharePoint (Administration and design)
• Proficient un! derstanding of application development, administration and security techniques across the entire WISA stack (Windows, IIS, SQL, ASP.net)
• Demonstrated proficiency with all aspects of development cycle including requirements gathering, design and implementation
• Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives
• Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice and coaching
• Able to break down complex requirements into actionable solutions

Education Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or related field
