Incident Response Analyst III

Documenting reports of incidents in Remedy, answering constituent questions regarding open tickets, performing Tier 1 analysis, assisting with creation of morning briefings and additional briefings as required, etc. Generate or update security events within the process framework of the client using available workflow management, document management and collaborative tool sets. Assist the client in coordination of information flow to external organizations. This includes but is not limited to telephone, e-mail, video-conference, and online chat forums to coordinate with customers in regards to security incident reporting, updates and support. Assist in the development and packaging of information papers and other aids developed for customers and standard operating procedures. Interact with all levels of leadership. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and initiative and be able to speak to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
5 years experience related secu! rity experience with a degree or 8 years with no degree required.
Required Skills: Strong IDS Monitoring/Analysis experience
Experience analyzing network traffic and conducting system administration functions.
Familiar with open source research and Internet security concepts.
Experience working in a team-oriented CERT/SOC environment.
Familiarity with basic networking concepts such a TCP/IP, UDP, Routers as it pertains to cyber-security
Experience with Remedy preferred.
Desired Skills: ArcSight or other SIEM experience
