The Division of Hematology, Oncology & Palliative Care and the Massey Cancer Center of Virginia Commonwealth University seeks a medical oncologist for a clinical educator position that will advan! ce the patient care mission of the Massey Cancer Center with a specific focus on solid tumors. Massey, an NCI-designated cancer center located in the City of Richmond, is in the midst of a major expansion of its research and clinical programs.
Qualifications: Candidates should be able to demonstrate clear evidence of accomplishment in teaching, clinical and other professional activities commensurate with appointment to a faculty position. Candidates should be board certified or eligible in medical oncology and eligible for Virginia licensure. Candidates who are also board certified or eligible in palliative care are preferred. Candidates must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
