The Service Agent cleans vehicles inside and out (vehicles may be cleaned by hand or by operating washing equipment). The Service Agent also performs regular maintenance (non-mechanical services), moves vehicles, a! nd performs other duties assigned by the manager, all complete! d in a safe and timely manner.
The pay for this position is $8.60/hour.
Responsibilities:
The Service Agent is responsible for the care and maintenance of the cars on the lot. This includes vacuuming and prepping the cars, shuttling cars to and from car washes and dealerships for servicing, car transports to and from offices, checking fluid levels, and changing tires.
Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment
Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body, by hand
Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
Determine need for and add windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
Perform basic maintenance check: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle (registration, plate! s, etc.)
May be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies
May assist with local automobile deliveries
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED required
Must have 2 years of prior work experience in the last 6 years
Must have a valid full U.S. driver's license for at least one year with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
Must have a satisfactory criminal record - no felony conviction which has not been annulled or expunged, impounded, statutorily eradicated or sealed by a court. (Note: A “yes†answer will not necessarily result in disqualifications. An individual assessment will occur in which factors such as age and time of offense, seriousn! ess, nature of the violation, rehabilitation and job applicability will! be considered.)
Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social security.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job (heavy lifting, vacuuming cars, bending down, moving quickly, and working outside) with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Must currently live or will be living (within 30 days) in the Northern Virginia area.
Apart from religious observations, must be able to work at least one of the following schedules:

Monday 7AM - 6PM (one hour break)
Tuesday OFF
Wednesday OFF
Thursday OFF
Friday 7AM - 6PM (one hour break)
Saturday 8:30AM - 12PM
