TAX - IT Vulnerability Analyst

Provide expert level vulnerability scanning and analysis (Web, network, system, application) in support of the Information Security Strategic Plan.
TAX seeks a professional with working k! nowledge of Nessus, Metasploit, Retina and other vulnerability scanning tools. The resource must be a self-starter, quick/eager learner and has proven they can work independently.
Required:
Min 5 years work experience with ISO, NIST, COBIT, PCI, or equivalent compliance standard.
Min 5 years work experience in performing solo vulnerability analysis.
MIN 5 years work experience in using Core Impact, Metasploit Pro, Nessus or comparable products.
Min 5 years work experience in Linux and Oracle environments.
Min 5 years work experience in Microsoft Windows and SQL environments.
Min 5 years work experience in network packet analysis.
Possess at least one certification from the following: CEH, ECSA, LPT, GIAC, or CISSP.
Desired:
Work experience within the Commonwealth of Virginia Information Security Standard
Work experience showing VOIP security analysis knowledge.

Required/Desired Skills:
1. Working knowledge of Windows 7 Operating System - 5 Years Required

3. Working knowledge Vulnerability Scanning Tools (such as Nessus, Core Impact, Metasploit) - 5 Years Required
4. Ability to interpret and analyze vulnerability scan results - 5 Years Required

1. This job is a contract position with the State of Virginia - through 11/01/2014.
