Description: LTD Hospitality Group is looking of General Clean and Preventative Maintenance Tech- Non Exempt right now, this position will be placed in Virginia. Responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction and team goals using guest tracking as a tool for continuous improvement. Overall responsibility for maintenance and upkeep, cleanliness of rooms, and attentiveness of personnel.
Perform the guest room preventive maintenance and general clean program on scheduled system per guidelines.
Utilize General Clean and Preventive Maintenance (GC/PM) checklists.
Record and log work performed. St! ore files and reports as per guidelines.
Monitor GC/P! M progress and results through control systems.
Remedy guest and associate requests and complaints as efficiently and timely as possible.
Follow hotel guest room key control systems.
Comply with all hotel, and government operating procedures.
Monitor and keep systems in place to control costs, keeping within budgetary guidelines.
Inform management of any safety hazards.
Associates are to work as a team helping all teammates to complete the required activities, which will ensure guest satisfaction.
Attend Continuous Improvement Meetings regularly.
Assist team with training, supplies and support in order to consistently provide a quality guest room.
Comply with Record Retention, Standard Operating Procedures and daily responsibilities.
Proper administration of key control.
Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
Other and all duties, projects, and tasks as ! assigned by employee’s manager.
Qualifications
Use empowerment to exceed associate / guest expectations and resolve conflicts.
Have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
