VCA SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center in Fairfax, Virginia is seeking an LVT to join ! the Surgery Department at our fast-paced, high-volume practice as Anesthesia Nurse .
The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering the highest quality patient care with exceptional client service. Strong organizational skills are a must.
Job responsibilities include patient care, monitoring anesthesia (from induction through recovery), client communication, record keeping, and organization of the Surgeon's day. This position will also be trained to manage patients under anesthesia for a wide variety of procedures, including orthopedic surgeries, soft tissue surgeries, surgical scoping procedures, spinal and cranial surgeries, CSF taps, and fluoroscopy.
The Anesthesia Nurse will be on-call for overnights and weekends.
