Account Manager

The Account Manager will cultivate, analyze, renew and expand relationships with key partners in order to raise revenue and/or in-kind donations that support USO programs and services.
Responsibilities/Duties
Iden! tify, secure and manage the business development and execution of key alliances and philanthropic relationships, meeting and/or exceeding established annual goals.
Manage and oversee contract creation, execution, fulfillment and associated logistic support for assigned accounts.
Maintain and organize contact lists, reports and records in fundraising software database.
Collaborate with internal and external partners on promotional items, creative material, presentations, and marketing content that is compliant with established policies and standards.
Identify, facilitate, and monitor cross-promotional opportunities.
Prepare sponsor stewardship reports, including partnership deliverables from key stakeholders.
Represent the organization at scheduled sponsor events, tradeshows and conferences as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required. Marketing, Business or Communications study prefer! red.
This is a career, senior account manager positio! n which requires a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Corporate fundraising/development and/or business to business sales preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Must be able to maintain clear, frequent communication with internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with fundraising software programs. Raiser's Edge preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in written communications as well as knowledge of various software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
Must be able to manage a high volume of assignments with varying complexity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with integrity and professionalism.
Must be able to demonstrate initiative/self-motivation, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to lift and carry u! p to 10 pounds.
Must be a strong advocate of the USOâs mission of supporting active military personnel and their families.

This position is located in Arlington, VA. Preference will be given to local candidates within commuting distance to the location.
