The Cyber Intelligence Analyst will be focused on the collection of timely and accurate Intel from a diverse range of information sources. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise with the latest technologies, procedures and processes for acquiring cyber-intel and have practical experience processing information from open source to highly classified. The Analyst must be able to think on their feet and deal with a wide range of Intel correlation, processing & handling challenges.
Essential Responsibilities
Monitor a wide array of diverse information sources â€" ranging from open-source to classified materials â€" for potential threats to GE’s digital infrastructure and operations
Analyze threats and vulnerabilities to determine their impact to GE’s digital footprint
Research relevant cyber-intelligence feeds and contextualize findings to GE’s specific ! business risks or vulnerabilities
Facilitate and perf! orm integrated internal reporting and communication rhythms in partnership with IT Risk teams and Corporate and Business Communications
Work independently when necessary and be self-directed when appropriate
Provide technical expertise and counsel to management, other organizations and special projects personnel
Collaborate with management in developing technical directions, setting objectives and setting realistic and challenging goals
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Information Assurance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Security and Information Technology
Minimum 1 year of professional Cyber Intelligence experience, including collecting intelligence, analyzing and creating relevant reports
Eligibility Requirements:
! Must be able to obtain Top Secret Clearance
