The Central Resource Pool RN position allows experienced RNs to ! fill "float" needs through coverage of 2 or more designated areas of the facility. Nurses in the Central Resource Pool must have 2+ years of critical care experience and be able to competently cover 2 or more areas of our facility on a PRN basis. Stipulations of our resource pool include a commitment to holiday coverage (3 per year) as well as weekend and odd shift coverage as outlined in the agreement. Compensation is competitive based on the skill level and flexibility of these outstanding nurses.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse License, current American Heart Association BLS certification, and other certification such as American Heart Association ACLS or PALS per requirements to work in specialized departments. Must be able to be deemed competent to work/float to areas of commitment as decided upon during interview process.
Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.
Experience: 2+ years acute care/ specialty nursing is REQUIRED in the areas of ICU/critical care & telemetry; able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers. Maintains patient confident! iality.
