IAD-Security/Loss Prevention Manager

Role Purpose Statement: To support and execute the regional security / loss prevention programs for the protection of customer and internal goods. Responsible for the! development and execution of the local security / loss prevention processes at the CSC (Customer Service Center).
Key Interfaces: (internal, external)
Internal: Customer Service Center (CSC), Americas Region Headquarters (ARH), Corporate Security
External: Customers, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Federal Aviation Agency (FAA), other Regulatory Agencies, Vendors
Duties and Responsibilities
Execute the regional security / loss prevention programs for minimizing the financial losses of the operation related to theft, vandalism, accident, injury and security access violations
Design, develop and execute the local security standard operating procedures (SOPs) / loss prevention program specific to the CSC to reduce property and financial losses
Conduct audits to identify problem areas or procedural deficiencies
Inspect buildings, equipment and access points to determine s! ecurity risks
Provide surveillance of CSC, monitor Cl! osed Circuit Television (CCTV); conduct video investigations as requested
Participate in the daily operations briefings at CSC
Provide weekly updates/briefings to operations and ARH
Organize and oversee locker room checks and random searches
Produce identification badges for CSC process employees for security clearances and special access
Evaluate and resolve security requests such as user issues and problems related to the security system, and communicate to security analyst at ARH
Assist with high level, sensitive and complicated investigations lodged against the Company or its employees
Maintain documentation or reports on security related incidents or investigations
Prepare security related publications, such as posters, flyers, bulletins
Prepare status report for bad card readers/doors and DVRs
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
! In addition, three to five years security / loss prevention experience required
Local or federal law enforcement experience a plus
Security software experience helpful (i.e. Diamond II)
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to maintain sensitive security data and professionally administer security policies and procedures
Problem solving capabilities and ability to react quickly in sensitive situations
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to interface effectively with people in various job capacities and lead them to obtain desired results
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer application
Able to work various shifts/days off
