Furnishes guidance and education to employees and trade partners on required process and policy and monitors adherence through auditing and self-assessment. Works to ensure the company remains in com! pliance with all export regulations, mitigates potential liabi! lities and helps avoid penalties, sanctions or other legal punishment both domestically and internationally.

Primary Responsibilities: Leads the Airbus Americas' Export Trade Compliance Team. Develops, implements, and overseas the Airbus Americas corporate Export Compliance Manual (ECM). The ECM is to detail Airbus Americas policy as it relates to the Airbus SAS Corporate policy and U.S. export related regulations.

Represents Airbus Americas before US Government agencies responsible for administering and enforcing US export import regulations, and industry associations dealing with U.S. export import topics regulations. Demonstrates masterly level understanding of export license compliance due diligence under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) ad Export Administration Regulation (EAR) regulations in a management level role. Furnishes guidance and education to Airbus Americas Companies regarding staff training programs to meet U.S. !

export import regulatory requirements. Performs or assigns Airbus Americas internal compliance audits/reviews as related to US export regulations. Acts as the Airbus A400M point of contact to liaise with Directorate of Defense Trade Controls and provides representation, coordination and communication with A400M Program updates; Template Agreement, Licenses and General Correspondence (GC) changes; and intercedes for US Suppliers concerning A400M Program authorization issues. Manages updates and coordinates the Airbus A400MTemplates to ensure Program standardization that meets the requirements of Airbus and DDTC Guidelines.

Reviews A400M US Suppliers' agreement and license submissions to ensure they meet Airbus requirements and are in compliance with the current Guidelines. Initiates drafts and submits General Correspondence in support of the A400M Program. Additional Responsibilities: Designated as the National Company Export Control Officer and acts as the! senior Empowered Official as defined in the International Traffic in A! rms Regulations (ITAR) for Airbus Americas Inc. and all its subsidiaries.

The ICM is to detail Airbus Americas policy as it relates to U.S.Customs/Border Patrol (CBP) import related regulations. Furnishes guidance and education to Airbus Americas Companies regarding staff training programs to meet U.S. Import regulatory requirements Performs or assigns Airbus Americas internal compliance audits/reviews as related to U.S.

Import regulations. Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Six or more years experience as an Import/Export Manager/Director and Empowered Official with prior experience dealing with Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC); Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS); and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Basic knowledge and understanding Airbus/EADS non-US operations (Aerospace Industry) Export Compliance Training Institute DES! IRED with documentation of attendanceAccredited Export Compliance Professional (EcoP) DESIRED with documentation of CertificateSociety for International Affairs International Traffic in Arms Regulations Training Seminars (SIA ITAR) CertificatesBureau of Industry and Security Export Administration Regulation (BIS EAR) CertificateAbility to orchestrate efforts of the company to elevate the communication regarding compliance policies and procedures. Possess an investigative mindset to identify, research, and analyze complex processes and procedures.

Driven by deadlines with a high sense of urgency. Strong knowledge base in domestic and international trade law regulations, supply chain operations, and the global trade network. Ability to interface with diverse stakeholders within a large i! nternational company. Education / Special Qualifications: US Citizenshi! p required (22 CFR 120.15) Bachelor's Degree desired or equivalent education combined with practical experience in the field of Export/Import.At least 6 years experience in U.S.
