Extropy is currently hiring a PCI â€"DSS Consultant for a 9 month engagement, with possible direct hire with one of our large securit! y consulting clients. Client prefers QSA certified candidates, however they will consider those with strong financial / PCI consulting backgrounds
Location: Vienna, VA 100% onsite at client. Candidates who wish to be considered to roll perm will need to be open to travel after this engagement concludes.
Client will consider non-local candidates who are willing to relocate for the duration of this engagement; there is no relo package.
Job Duties
The QSA resource will coordinate and act as Subject Matter Expert, on Payment Card Industry (PCI) Standards and provide guidance.
Assist in the POF and acquisition of the Tokenization Vendor and product
Provide guidance on the use of desktop virtualization as a remediation strategy
Support PCI technical advisory group as PCI SME
Provide PCI Awareness training for the organization
Assist in development of training curriculum for PCI
Provid! e support for technical investigation of applications and infr! astructure
Translate PCI rules and requirements, as well as additional VISA rules for Issuance and other related functions
Assist in the strategy for Mainframe remediation
Assist in network design for segmentation
Provide QSA opinion on various technologies and implementation efforts undertaken as part of compliance effort
Identify gaps through on-going program governance process and provide recommendations for corrective action
Consult with QSA community for matters that are unclear in the requirements.
Required Skills
5 years of experience on PCI requirements and analysis
Have sufficient experience in remediation activities for Financial Institutions
Have sufficient information security knowledge and experience to conduct technically complex security assessments
Possess industry-recognized security certification(s) or equivalent work experience
Be knowledgeable abou! t the PCI DSS and the PCI DSS Security Audit Procedures
Experience in mainframe remediation
Experience in remediation of Issuance functions
