Description
Responsible for managing relationships with specific vendors and serving as the organization's point of contact. Researches, analyzes and e! valuates vendors and recommends new vendor purchases. Provides support to the organization for problems with vendor products and services. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Travel between 25 â€" 50% of the time, particularly high the first three (3) to six (6) months.
Skills/Capabilities:
Perform onsite operational assessments
Conduct weekly/bi-weekly conference calls
Conduct/participate in quarterly relationship review
Participate in scorecard development/ compilation
Manage statements of works (SOWs) through the process
Manage the customer complaint process
Onboard/disengage suppliers
Perform quality call reviews
Work with ISOs to dev! elop and maintain BRIAs
Qualifications
Mi! nimum Requirements:
- 2 years analytical experience in related field or department.
- Intermediate PC skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and initiative.
- Professional communications skills.
- Knowledge or experience related to Mortgage and/or Vendor/Supplier Management.
- Project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree
- · Able to work with little supervision/direction
- · Talented multi-tasker who can work independently and across functional teams
- Must be highly organized and detail oriente
- 3+ years experience in vendor/supplier management
- Expertise in the Default domain (Collections, Loss Mitigation, Recovery)
