Description: Clinch Valley Medical Center is currently interviewing Phlebotomist PRN (L948) right now, this job will be placed in Virginia. Responsible for collection of inpatient specimen/assisting with outpatient or emergency room patients Process referral specimens, charting of all lab reports, proper documentation of c! harting in accession log books, and notifying technicians of any stat tests. Responsible for performing, documentation and charting bedside blood sugars on in patients, performing and documenting bedside testing QC each shift.
Requires high school diploma with certificate of phlebotomy from Southwest Virginia Community College or equivalent.
1-2 yrs of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
Computer skills required.
Good customer communication skills a must.
