Job Sensitivity: Tier II - No Credit Check

Administers and facilitates several FRIT compensation programs. Collects, analyzes and maintains data related to merit salary administration, variable pay planning and HRIS programs and interfaces utilized by FRIT Human Resources. Participates in development of essential policy and HR operations changes and problem resolution for assigned areas of compensation. Provides software support and training for HRIS to HR staff.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Compensation:
Completes job descriptions; coordinates with department management and ensures accurate accounting of scope and tasks described. Completes market pricing and job evaluations for approval by compensation manager. Completes salary survey submissions and practices surveys.
Merit:
Administers annual merit process for non-o! fficer staff. Provides guidance to FRIT management ensures adherence to policies and performs required analysis related to the merit program. Maintains and utilizes merit database for analysis and reporting. Coordinates automation process and implementation with HRIS staff.

Variable Pay:
Administers annual Variable Pay program. Provides guidance and training to Division Heads and/or project sponsors. Responsible for all facets of program from initial planning through program payment processing. Utilizes the variable pay peoplesoft tool and consults with managers to ensure program compliance. Validates planned incentive spending by Project/Division and reviews participation to ensure compliance to established program policies. Assist with Manager Self Service process changes related to compensation programs, system upgrades and system testing.

Policy and Procedures:
Plans and conducts studies of policies and standard operating procedur! es of a moderately complex nature to monitor and improve compensation program performance. Reviews, researches and recommends policy updates as necessary to the FRIT Manager's Reference to HR Policies and Programs Manual. Assists in preparation of project task descriptions, timetables and metrics reporting. Prepares and validates various queried reports. Ensures compliance to policies and processes. Completes documentation for COSO, BOG and local Bank audits. Performs additional duties as assigned.
