Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience or combina! tion of education, skills, knowledge, abilities, and experienc! e in Environmental / Energy fields
- Demonstrated experience working Navy programs with knowledge and understanding of OPNAV and NAVFAC organizations
- Experience in working Navy energy and environmental programs
- Proficient use of PC based applications (MS Word, Excel, Access); good typing skills are required, as well as a motivated, hard-working team player with attention to detail
- Experience required in developing briefings, papers, and workgroup products
- Understanding of DoD program investment and budgeting
- Must be familiar with the Navy administrative, and document coordination procedures
- Must have strong written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
- Must have a Security clearance/Secret level
- This position requires the flexibility to serve as a cross-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of the URS Corporation
- Mus! t have a valid driver's license
- Limited travel may be required
- Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Responsibilities:
- Full-time position in Arlington, Virginia
- Support DoD and Navy Environmental Compliance programs with clients nationwide with work consisting of consulting and technical support
- Provide senior technical support and consulting expertise to OPNAV and NAVFAC Environmental Compliance program
- Some business development and marketing may be required
- Assist the Program Director with client management and development of new projects
