Position Description:
SUMMARY

To assist the Commercial Sales Team in developing continued enhancements to the sales tools that will enhance our sales strategy focused at growing sales and exceeding operating profit targets. This includes defining and developing the strategy to launch, implement and coach on proper usage of the salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management tool. Most of the Implementation Manager¿s time is spent in the field working alongside the sales team to evaluate their understanding of the CRM tool and to inspect the accura! cy of data entered. This person must develop and maintain effe! ctive, productive relationships with Team Members in the field and at the SSC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work closely with the Director of Sales Force Effectiveness to build and communicate a vision for the commercial sales process that will maximize sales effectiveness and is directly connected to the direction and strategy of the commercial organization

Work closely with the Commercial Vice Presidents, Commercial Sales Managers, Director of National Accounts, CRM IT Manager, and other key personnel to develop the strategy surrounding the training and implementation of the CRM tool. Define the metrics needed to support proper usage of tool. Provide support to ensure ongoing account management and activity tracking in salesforce.com while collecting data for all of AAPs customers

Develop and maintain strategic partnership with CVPs and CSM¿s to understand the changing cultu! re at AAP. Define a workwith tool that creates a standard coaching behavior for all sales leadership. Define the key metrics needed to support the rollout and implementation of this tool

Continuously support and drive change management of the Sales Team, including the development and execution of sales contests

Partner with the Commercial Sales team, marketing, and merchandising to develop playbooks and sales tools to support Commercial Sales Organization in their approach to grow wallet share

Work with the CSM and Division Managers to determine price schedules and discount rates that will allow the assigned accounts to achieve Commercial sales and gross margin targets

Working knowledge of Company products and services and the ability to market those products and services to meet customer needs

Provide feedback and input to Marketing, Merchandising, and other business partners regarding competitive information, merchandising sugg! estions, and other services to strengthen AAPs market position

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Excellent problem solving ability

Proven sales record and complete understanding of sales process

Must possess strategic thinking abilities and process mapping

Ability to review and analyze business reports, such as profit and loss statement

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to effectivel! y present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Ability to interpret Company Policy and apply to a variety of situations, while maintaining consistency throughout assigned accounts

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree required

5-8 years of sales or marketing experience

Computer proficiency required: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, and PowerPoint

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Possess a valid drivers license and meet the companys MVR requirements.

The Team Member will be required to spend extensive time traveling.

Overnight travel will be required.
