The AFS Enterprise Architecture and Operations Lead is responsible for the overall IT security architecture, design and strategy. This role will lead defining the vision, standards, core capabilities, and architectures to be used by AFS business applica! tions. The Enterprise Architecture Lead will report directly t! he AFS CIO and supervise a team of 10+ resources made up of Security, Solution Architecture, System/Technical Architecture, and Environment Management teams/skills.
The Enterprise Architecture Lead will work closely with executive stakeholders and must possess strong communications and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Design, Development and Operations support for common components, integration between systems, and required architectures (reporting, batch, OLTP, etc.)
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions across all business functions
Lead the Design, Development, and Operations support for Monitoring and Capacity Management of Infrastructure and Applications
Define performance testing approach, execution, and operations across key applications
Provide architecture direction and QA architecture decisions by application teams
Define and ensure the support of service-level agree! ments between functions and systems and 3rd party vendors
Establish and institute Architecture Standards and Definitions
Ensure proper governance practices are in place
Lead and execute a rolling 3 year Technology Roadmap and associated Application Blueprint
Manage overall IT investment and benefit traceability (the affordability of IT)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
12 years systems integration, delivery, and operations
5 years in managing operations of applications
Experience in developing solutions across a variety of technology platforms, including Microsoft solutions
Experience in developing integration between ERP and ancillary business systems
, preferably Deltek Costpoint
Experience in developing and operating packaged and custom solutions,
including Microsoft solutions
Experience in developing business case for architecture requireme! nts in systems delivery
Experience in developing and managing ! infrastructure capacity and operations

supervisory experience
Bachelor's Degree
U.S. Citizen
