DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job is responsible for communicating and administering company policies and for labor contract administration. The
individual in this job also serves as direct advisor and assistant to Plant HR Manager on all personnel-related matter! s.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Administers labor agree! ment in accordance with guidelines set forth between Union and
Management negotiating committees.
Administers hourly and salaried Employee Savings Plan (401k) to include communicating
provisions of the plan to employees.
Administers hourly and salaried pensions and communicates with employees and Corporate
Employee Benefits as needed.
Coordinates hourly employment in accordance with company policy.
Coordinates and completes yearly EEO/AAP.
Conducts new employee orientation sessions, and tracks employee training plantwide.
Assists Plant HR Manager in preparation of grievance meetings and arbitration hearings.
Coordinates assignments and work schedules of Co-ops.
Conducts all recruiting and hiring, and assists Plant HR Manager with salaried
recruiting.
Position has the responsibility and authority for quality commensurate with the
accountability of the job description.
Performs other Human Resources related duties as! needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in business or Labor Relations required.
Two years manufacturing or Human Resources experience including supervision or heavy
interaction with employees.
Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and decision making skills.
