Blue Mountain Brewery is seeking an experienced Assistant Chef or Sous Chef to join our team at our Afton brewpub and restaurant. The ideal candidate must have 3 years of experience in a leadership role and be a quick learner that is able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure. We're looking for someone who is passionate about food and will put their experience, focus, creativity and discipline into all aspects of their work.Â
Responsibilities for this hands-on position include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and inspiring a culinary ! team in a manner that promotes excellence and professionalism
- Maintaining an organized, clean kitchen and requiring the same from the staff
- Developing and implementing menus and daily specials
- Overseeing all aspects of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef
- Assisting in achieving food and labor budget goals
Salary dependent on experience.
