Job summary
Red Hat's Training team is seeking a Business Development Manager to help maintain our annual g! rowth. Our Training team is a high-growth, award-winning organ! ization within the company. In this role, you'll be responsible for promoting training bookings and reaching revenue quotas in a specific assigned region by acquiring new business while maintaining relationships with current customers. You will collaborate with our corporate Sales team to promote Red Hat's certifications within your assigned region. As a Business Development Manager, you will also be responsible for managing forecasts, providing quotes, closing deals, and tracking data through Salesforce.com. Primary job responsibilities
Work extensively with partners to grow the business in your specific territory
Work with account managers to identify, define, and create corporate training plans
Sell additional courses and certifications to your existing customer base
Plan and generate new on-site training from pre-assessment leads and existing customers
Actively follow leads to ensure the closing of training bookings
Provide followup activities to! support Red Hat Training marketing campaigns
Define subscription opportunities in Salesforce.com and try to attach training units to each opportunity above certain size
Develop and refine our best practices for training sales Required skills
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of sales experience in the IT industry with a track record of achievements
Experience selling software or technology training services is preferred
Ability to engage management decision makers and influencers at any level
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work with many sales channels
Experience using Salesforce.com
