Assistant Apparel Buyer

Role overview:

Under the guidance of the Senior Buyer, you as an Assistant Buyer will work to create the appropriate merchandise mix based on emerging trends and manage the assortment strategies. You will also be responsible for managing your category product assortment and delivering on financial targets.

Role requirements:

  • 3+ plus years of experience in Buying for apparel across women's categories
  • Experience working with vendors and negotiating

Responsibilities:

  • Create merchandise assortment based on current trends
  • Research the competition across all markets to identify emerging trends, categories, and promotional campaigns
  • Grow and maintain relationships with vendor partners
  • Negotiate product quality, costs, and delivery with vendors
