Location: Alexandria Virginia

Description: Synerfac is employing Sharepoint Consultant right now, this occupation will be placed in Virginia. Our client team will hold a Project Kick-Off Meeting with a project advisory group comprised of key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to be identified by the Contracting Officer Technical Repr! esentative (COTR). The team will conduct the Kick-Off Meeting within fifteen (15) business days after this project plan is signed. At the Kick-Off Meeting, the team will present the details of their intended approach, work plan and project schedule including deliverable dates. Work will not commence until the COTR approves the approach/methodology, the work plan, and the schedule. The team will also complete standard administrative tasks (e.g., Background Investigations, Staff Roster of Key Personnel, mandatory training) as appropriate.

  • Deliverable 1: The contractor will submit to the COTR within five (5) business days after award a full and complete list of key personnel to include: names, Social Security Numbers, and home addresses for the Background Investigation requirement.
  • Deliverable 2: The mandatory security and privacy awareness training will be completed and documented as appropriate within ten (10) business days of award. Training compl! eted by individual staff within the same fiscal year under sep! arate orders as otherwise required for this deliverable will be accepted so long as appropriate documentation is submitted. The contractor will submit electronically to the COTR within ten (10) business days of award - or in the case of staff added after performance begins, ten (10) business days of their on-board date - a complete status of training for all staff.
  • Deliverable 3: Kick-Off Meeting fifteen (15) business days from date of award.
Task 2 - SharePoint 2010 Requirements and Analysis Review

The team will conduct interviews with stakeholders to review current formal and informal processes. Relevant processes will be mapped to SharePoint capabilities, and the team will provide recommendations on the feasibility of housing or automating those processes in SharePoint. As part of the review, the team will examine the DOD IG's SharePoint 2010 server features, applications, and configuration, and recommend optimal information architecture. The! team will also review current DOD IG governance and information policy.

  • Deliverable 1: Formal recommendations document detailing the DOD IG business process, SharePoint components to use in a possible solution, and the time, materials, and level of difficulty in providing that solution. The document will be provided within a month of all interviews being conducted.
  • Deliverable 2: A training plan document based on accepted recommendations. The document will detail training topics to be covered, types of training for each solution (end-user, IT staff, etc.), and the training schedule. DOD IG staff and assist with connectivity and report design recommendations based on requirements interviews. The training plan document will be provided within two weeks of DOD IG's final decision on all recommendations.
Onsite Consultation, Training, and Support

Task 3 - Onsite Support
  • The team will provide suitable onsite SharePoint! support for training and consultation on a full time basis for a perio! d of six (6) months beginning on or around October 1, 2012.
  • The team will provide suitable onsite SharePoint support for training and consultation on a part time basis for a period of three (3) months to begin when the previous full time period ends.
  • The team will provide suitable offsite SharePoint support for training and consultation on an occasional basis for a period of three (3) months to begin when the previous part time period ends. Appropriate personnel will be available for ad hoc onsite meetings and training sessions.
Task 4 - SharePoint Training
  • Deliverable 1: Conduct training on information and development strategies and SharePoint 2010 out of the box features for IT. Training will be based on current site architecture and future development plans.
  • Deliverable 2: Conduct training on recommended solutions to IT as appropriate, based on the training plan document. This training may be conducted multiple times in ! person or via webcast as necessary.
  • Deliverable 3: Conduct training on recommended solutions to end users as appropriate, based on the training plan document and completion of the solution. This training may be conducted multiple times in person or via webcast as necessary.
  • Deliverable 4: Provide an elearning module to serve as a tour of new site features. This module will be completed near the end of the project term to incorporate development changes throughout the project.
Task 5 - Configuration and Implementation
The team will assist internal IT resources with configuration and implementation of "out of the box" SharePoint features and solutions as tasked by DOD IG in concert with accepted recommendations. The team will operate only within the parameters set by DOD IG and under their guidance and policies.

Task 6 - Regular Progress Reports
  • Deliverable 1: The team will submit progress reports in a period determined b! y DOD IG. Reports should address project status and will not disclose s! ecurity issues unless transmitted in a secure manner. The COTR retains the right to change reporting period on a case-by-case basis for purposes of managing the work. The official reporting for order compliance will be the regular report.
  • Deliverable 2: The team will notify the COTR and CO, in writing, if problems arise adversely impacting the performance of the project. The COTR serves as the primary point of contact for the team.
Must be a US Citizen
Must have experience with outside connectors that connect with Sharepoint.
Any experience with Team mate is a a BIG Plus.
Any experience with Audits is a big Plus.
Any experience with the Inspector General is a Plus
