This position will support fuel market strategy work for the Policy, Regulatory and Market Analysis fulfillment group within Pace Global and will focus on the domestic and international natural gas, oil and alternative energy markets. This individual will be responsible for oil and natural gas market assessments, our MarketLinkSM sce! narios, project finance, strategic planning, and gas-utility-r! elated services. The position’s specific requirements include:

• Performing natural gas and oil fundamental analyses in domestic and international markets pertaining to gas and oil production, liquefied natural gas, and supply and demand balance and price trends.
• Participating in Pace Global client engagements for energy asset project developers and owners, financial institutions, natural gas utilities, and exploration and production companies
• Contributing to the continued development of Pace Global’s view and corporate branding materials related to domestic and international natural gas and oil markets.
• Leading and/or supporting discussions with Pace Global’s clients to illustrate long-term market views and price forecasts.
• Participating on project teams to complete reports and presentations on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes and experience:

3+ years relevant experience in the energy industry.

A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as finance or economics.

Recent energy industry commercial experience with an understanding of natural gas and oil markets, in particular price drivers in both the domestic and international markets is desired

Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently develop and deliver client-relevant insights and conclusions with minimal guidance or direction.

Advanced Microsoft Office competencies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to provide effective editing and quality control of deliverable documents in MS Word or PowerPoint.

Ability to work within a matrix-management organization and fully embrace the principles of teamwork and interdependence.

Foreign language skills are desirable, but not a requirement.

Willingness to travel when necessary
