Instructional Designer
Location: Virginia Beach Virginia
Description: TEKsystems is currently seeking to employ Instructional Designer right now, this vacancy will be placed in Virginia. For detail informations about this vacancy opportunity kindly see the descriptions. SUMMARY: Responsible for designing comprehensive instructional systems and materials.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops instructional materials for instru! ctor led courses and at least one additional course delivery type. Conducts performance and instructional analysis for small and mid-sized projects. Develops and maintains instructional project plans for small and mid-sized projects. Evaluates instructional systems and materials. Conducts Train-the-Trainer events. Creates and/or edits graphical and auditory materials.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires a BA/BS degree in a related area, two years training and development experience, seven years total experience in training, health insurance or business experience, quality and/or other related areas, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience with designing or developing learning technology solutions.
SKILLS: Knowledge of instructional systems design (ISD) and adult learning principles, including Criterion-Referenced Instruction methodology. Preferred: Performance Consulting or ISD certi! fication. Certification on at least one advanced learning tech! nology, CBT/WBT authoring tools, Robohelp, Front page, Captivate, etc. Some travel required (most likely will perform meetings through conference and webX meetings)
Nice to have-certifications relevant to training, Health insurance experience, writing for clinical (audience), any elearning design would be preferred
