ENSCO's NSS Division provides innovative customized products and services vital to national safety and security. One o! f our focus areas is the development of solutions for positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT), primarily for applications where GPS is denied or impaired. We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to assist in our continued growth in this area. The successful candidate must have a broad understanding of technologies required for PNT including Kalman filters and optimal estimation, inertial navigation, two-way time transfer, and RF digital communications; the candidate must be expert in one or more of these areas. The candidate is expected to have the skill and experience to perform as a principal investigator for sponsored R&D programs. The candidate will participate in concept development, the creation and presentation of white papers and proposals to potential customers, and will provide technical leadership for various programs within NSS’s PNT group.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related d! iscipline; or equivalent.
- 7 years of direct and demon! strated experience in the design and development of PNT technologies.
- Demonstrated expert in Kalman filters and optimal estimation, inertial navigation, two-way time transfer, or RF digital communications.
- A self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Capable of achieving organizational and program objectives.
- Ability to interface with all levels of internal management as well as program sponsors and sub-contractors.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.*
