Description: Advantage Technical Resourcing is presently looking of Facilities Operations Assistant right now, this position will be placed in Virginia. More details about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Our client is currently looking for a part-time, on-call facilities professional for our lab/offices. The Facilities Operations Assistant will be the first contact for any emergency or malfunction occurring in or around the building. S/he will also provide supervision of any maintenance performed in the building or mechanical yard, space condition monitoring through the building management system (Client), and periodic small maintenance work such as steam boiler blow down and chemical feed monitoring. During regular operations, this per! son will do a once daily walk through of the building and on h! olidays, weekends, and closures will do the walk through on a daily basis both morning and evening. The Facilities professional may be asked to provide or coordinate minor repairs on occasion.
Requirements:
Ten plus years of experience in facilities maintenance, including knowledge of Virginia State Codes. Must be available on short notice and be willing to be on-call 24/7. Ability to thoroughly document all problems or issues is required. Must have solid knowledge of HVAC systems and Johnson Controls systems. Must have computer skills to work with windows based programs and understanding of Microsoft products such as Word and Excel and Outlook.
