In a call center setting, senior reactive sales staff are responsible for executing and confirming securities transactions initiated by retail clients and providing assistance to clients on request. Associates provide limited research and counseling services on limited products but do not develop client relationships. Senior proactive sales staff contact prospective and existing clients via telephone to offer securities products which maybe of benefit to the client. May follow up on client contacts to close the sale of investment products. Provides research and counseling services on limited products but do! not develop client relationships. The senior specialist overs! ees the implementation and completion of proactive initiatives performed by Resource Center team and provides guidance to more junior staff.
Qualifications
Strong business acumen and significant understanding of the wealth management industry, including banking and investment products, services and processes.
Strong project and process management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent analytical abilities.
Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices.
Understanding of complex regulatory environment.
Inspirational leader capable of directing and motivating teams of service and support associates.
Bachelors Degree Required.
Masters Degree (MBA) desired.
Six Sigma certification a plus.
