What would you do as an HR Generalist?
This position focuses its time and effort on the following duties, though others may be required:
- Assist employees and managers of the organization with their human resources related needs, questions, and concerns;
- Administer various types of leaves and accommodations, including notifying employees of their rights, reviewing required forms, collecting insurance premiums, tracking of hours, and reviewing ADA accommodations requested;
- Communicate employee issues and corrections both verbally and in writing to the employee and various functional work groups in a professional, concise manner;
- Perform employee relations duties for assigned departments including coaching, performance management, corrective action review, investigations, and employee concerns;
- Partner with client groups to manage the employee performance management process, including employee reviews, feedback, and accountability;
- Manage the talent acquisition process for assigned positions including sourcing strategy, posting, monitoring, scheduling, following up, creating offer letters, and working with hiring manager to complete the process;
- Create, review and edit job descriptions;
- Assist with the compilation of various compensation benchmarking data for organization compensation analysis;
- Review and recommend edits and interpret the organization’s policies and people related guidelines.

Requirements
- Certifications/Education
- High School Diploma/GED;
- Knowledge of:
- Detailed knowledge of human resource related Federal/State/local regulations including Title VII and related laws, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.;
- Working knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
- Experience:
- two or more years’ experience performing human resource duties as described above;
- Interpreting people related laws, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines;
- Analyzing human resource problems and recommending solutions.
