Make-ready Coordinator

Location: Arlington Virginia

This position involves coordinating the maintenance team to ensure that our apartments are in excellent condition prior to a resident moving in to their new home; in addition to some hands-on work.

Job Description

The Make-ready Coordinator position combines:
Outstanding customer service skills in dealing with resident service requests

Maintenance, tool and equipment knowledge

Administrative skills for reporting and tracking service requests on the computer

Organizational and management skills for overseeing that the work gets done

Superior service is one of our top priorities. Our Make-ready Coordinators must be able to communicate effectively with sophisticated residents and the maintenance and grounds staff. Spanish language skills a plus.

Requirements

Exceptional customer service and people skills

Outgoing, friendly personality

Good organizational skills for scheduling, follow-up, and follow through

Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time in a busy and sometimes stressful environment

Basic writing abilities for clear communication on work orders and reports

Computer literacy with e-mail, Internet and Microsoft Word, plus general office and light bookkeeping

Professional appearance

Some college or advanced schooling preferred

Spanish or bilingual language skills a plus
