Location: Reston, VA

Reports to: Senior Director, Panel Science

BASIC FUNCTION:
Working within the Panel Science team, the ! Research Analyst in Panel Methodologies will focus on supporting auditable practices and methodologies related to sampling and sample weighting as well as demographic collection and reporting for comScore’s research panels. The Research Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and documenting current methodologies and will also work closely with our development team to plan and execute new methodologies and practices for comScore’s audience measurement products as needed.

The ideal candidate will bring analytical experience to the role, as well as an interest in developing robust research processes including documentation and quality assurance steps, and will have an academic background including research methods and/or statistics or be able to demonstrate equivalent work experience in market and/or media research.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Provide quality assurance for existing research practices and methodologies

Assi! st in developing new research practices and methodologies
!
Support documentation and testing related to panel, sample and weighting methodologies for purposes of audit accreditation

Prepare materials related to client and industry communications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in quantitative field (statistics, social sciences, economics, mathematics, etc.)

Relevant experience in data analysis or research methods desired

SQL and/or SAS experience required

General familiarity with sampling and weighting techniques

Exposure to the digital space, audience measurement or working with large datasets desired

Strong attention to detail and quality

Adaptable with ability to work with rapidly changing requirements

Ability to work independently as well as with other teams

Ability to multi-task
