Description: Sentara is currently seeking to employ DIR, HOME MEDICAL EQUIPMENT right now, this vacancy will be placed in Virginia. Administers and directs the total operations of Sentara Respiratory and Home Medical Equipment The DME Director provides oversight of all logistics, purchasing and staff involved in ! the day-to-day operations of hte DME and Respiratory deaprtments ot include inventory control, expense control, procurement of products, distribution process and maintenance of DME delivery vehicles and respiratory equipment.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Minimum of Bachelors degree in Business or related field, prefer Masters degree in above fields. Must possess a minimum of 5 years progressive management. Experience exhibiting sound decision making, financial analysis experience, and overall operation experience.
Experience: (include useof equipment, instruments and tools) â€" Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Marketing and sales abilities required, as well as good financial and personnel management skills. Must have a thorough understanding of health related organization policies and procedures. Must understand government agencies and regulation governing medical equipment industries.
Licensure: N! /A
Other: Must be able to work autonomously with ma! king decisions that impact operations and patient needs. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
