Core Responsibilities:
Supervise and support social service workers and staff to assure that each child receives services in accordance with all laws, regulations and internal policies.
Facilitate the provision of safe, secure and nurturing living experiences in accordance with The Bair Foundation mission.
Assures the implementation of all applicable state regulations and organizational policies and procedures within the office.
Supervises all child-placing staff and activities directly or through others.
Assists the Executive Director in the formulation and implementation of the agency's policies and programs related to child placing and in the specific program area in which he works.
Conducts evaluations of foster care/ family preservation staff and makes appropriate recommendations to report to the Executive Director.
Assures resolution of critical incidents for foster care/family preservation services.
Makes visits to foster h! omes annually and those homes that have more than three foster! children a minimum of twice per year.
Develops budget for services to assure office is operating without financial loss.
Maintains communication with referral agencies regarding current children by monthly visitations for agencies with more than five children in care.
Must become proficient with The Bair Foundation's treatment model and its application.
Supervises the Intake Staff ensuring placement goals are met.
Master's Degree in social work with three years experience in providing casework services to children and families including one year of supervisory experience.
Master's Degree in a field related to social work such as sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling; and at least four years experience in providing casework services to children and families, two of which must be in providing casework services to children and families in a child-placing agency and one year of experience must be as an administrator or supervisor ! of casework services.
Must have knowledge of child development, behavior and discipline, and of regulations and laws applicable to private youth agencies.
